Responsibility
At Line Rossau, we protect the earth and our future. We take pride in creating jewelry that can last for generations and is made only from the finest materials. That is why we also primarily work only with suppliers who focus on sustainability and who also take responsibility for the future and the process behind the creation of the raw material.
Recycled gold
The gold we work with in the shop is primarily recycled gold. It comes from ash and waste collected in Scandinavia, which is carefully sorted and purified so that it can get a new life in jewelry.
At Line Rossau, we have a great love for reusing materials. Some of our jewelry is created from leftover gold from our own workshop. In this way, we avoid having the gold transported to large refineries – instead, we keep it in a small, sustainable cycle here in the shop in Frederiksberg.
When you choose a piece of jewelry from us, you therefore do not just get a handmade design – you also get a piece of responsible craftsmanship, created with consideration for both the environment and the history of the materials.
Recycled jewelry
At Line Rossau, it is possible to have jewelry made from your old gold - heirloom jewelry, or just jewelry you no longer wear. It is also possible to reuse gemstones and diamonds. If you would like to have a new piece of jewelry made, stop by the store and we can look at the options together.
Gold & Silver
At Line Rossau, we only use bio/recycled gold. Bio gold is old gold that is refined (purified) and reused in production. The process takes place in the EU and thus complies with all EU regulations regarding the environment, working conditions, child labour, etc.
No minerals are sourced from conflict or high-risk areas in accordance with OECD and EU standards.
Diamonds
All the diamonds we use in our jewelry are conflict-free and fair trade. It can be difficult to be certain whether the diamonds you buy are blood diamonds or conflict-free. But since our supplier buys the diamonds directly from miners in West Africa, you can be sure that your diamond is ethically and fairly traded when you buy a diamond from Line Rossau. We comply with all EU regulations in this regard.
